Moose Mountains Reservation Trail Work Day

Saturday, May 9 - 10 am to 3 p.m.

Moose Mountains Reservation in Middleton

Join Land Stewards Jason Morris and Scott Lavoice for a blitz of trail work at Moose Mountains Reservation in Middleton, NH. We will be continuing to build a new trail up Phoebe's Nable Mountain that was started Fall 2013 (Phoebes Nable Loop Trail). Work will primarily consist of removing stumps and rocks. Meet at the Moose Mountains Reservations trailhead at the end of New Portsmouth Road in Middleton. We will drive/car pool up to the field which is a short distance from the trail head. We will break for lunch around 12:30 at the top of Phoebes Nable Mt. with 180* view!

Bring: lunch, lots of water, work gloves, and sturdy work clothes and boots. If you have a metal rake or loppers bring those along, too. We will have the heavy trail tools. If you have taken the Forest Society's chainsaw safety course and are willing to bring/use your saw, that may be helpful as well.
